A controversy which opened De cember last over the Klamath Rec ord and the Evening Herald, both lo cal dailies, ended today when E., J. Hurray, former owner of the Herald, tendered in court a $1,000 bill and took in return the entire, common slock and full control of the Klamath Record. This was in pursuance with the decree of Circuit Judge C. P. Stone, entered ten daya ago after hearing the testimony in the case of Murray against the Record. This su't sought the enforcement of a contract dated October 8. 1921 nm. riding for the sale of the Record toJ him for 13,000. When he had paid some $2,000 Murray claimed, the Record refused to carry out the agree ment. Murray said today he had not decided what disposition to make of the Record properly.
