woman's virtue, the Lord's day, the
eighteenth amendment and chastity,
thus spreading a moral blight across
America and striking at the vitals ot
the nation in suggesting to the youth
of the land ruinous habits."

the film Industry into politics to pre
vent election of hostile candidates was

watennain assessments upon all properties for which applica
tion was made to extend time of payment, will be due and pay
able at the office of the city treasurer June 1, 1922, and will be
delinquent after thirty (30) days from said date and shall bear
a penalty of five per cent (5) upon the amount of such de
linquency. Thirty days after such delinquency the property will be
advertised and sold for the amount of such delinquency, to
gether with penalties and costs of such sale in accordance with
Section 148 of the City Charter.

KLAMATH FALLS. Ore.. May 2 4.
A controversy which opened De
cember last over the Klamath Rec
ord and the Evening Herald, both lo
cal dailies, ended today when E., J.
Hurray, former owner of the Herald,
tendered in court a $1,000 bill and
took in return the entire, common
slock and full control of the Klamath
Record. This was in pursuance with
the decree of Circuit Judge C. P.
Stone, entered ten daya ago after
hearing the testimony in the case of
Murray against the Record. This
su't sought the enforcement of a
contract dated October 8. 1921 nm.
