The morning w ill be given to an address on school drills and songs. There will bo a basket dinner and the afternoon- will be given to athle tic. A baseball game is also planned. All are invited. Mr. and Mrs. John Rice visaed Thursday evening at the Throckmor ton home. Consolidation with the I'nlontown district was voted down. Lowd, Mrs. Gal bralth and Phillip Lowd motored to Fort Jones, Calif, returning last Mon day afternoon, Rev. A. Wolfe and wife left Rogue River Thursday for Canyonvllle where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tucker made a business trip to Medford Saturday. Mr. lister Smith, who has been attending the University of Oregon, came back last week. He Is going Into the forest service. Mr. Rader of Medford, who owns ranch -back of Earl Tucker's farm. brought some cattle out Sunday to put In his pasture. Dr. Darber called on Mr. Monia today. Mri Monia ha sa serious case of flu. Miss Delia Hard and Roy Hans com were visitors at the Stanley home Saturday. Miss Kubll spent the week end at her home on Applegate. Harvey Stanley went to Ranch Rea last week, where he will stay for a few weeks. .Floyd Charley and Lee Bradshaw went to Eagle Point Sunday to sep arate some catt e. Mr. and Mrs. Gear and two child ren visited their old borne, now own ed by Hoagland s. They were coming from California en route to Canada Our pupils are going to take part n the field meet at Talent Friday. Ida Bradshaw spent the week end at her home In Brownsboro. Miss Bradshaw is teaching at Wagner Creek. Eleven of our children have earned their knight bannerette or gold pins, in their health crusade work. All of the pupils have their first pin and several others are working for the gold pins. Ellen Tucker, Viola Hoagland and Harold Dallas, have cop pie ted their curiis practice work. Miss Kubll, who has taught here for the last year has accepted a post Hon In the Applegate school for next year. She says she has enjoyed her year here, but that she Is taking the school at Applegate because it is her home.
