' Oregon Gas and Electric company will maintain an Ashland office for the convenience of local gas users, the agency having been taken over by the Provost Brothers hardware, according to a statement made this morning by Thomas D. Pitch, vice president and general manager of the company. Mr. Pitch states that G. C. Jenkins, former manager of the Ashland office, will be transferred to the RoBeburg office as manager, and the local gus supply will be improved by the installation of a $3000 compression tank.
