I First National Bank ; Mdford Oregon Oue of the most elaborate ceremon ials of Its kind will be held next Sal urday in Medford by ttie Dramatic Order KniKhls of Khorassan. Repre sentatives will be here from all parts of the valley and from northern Cali fornia towns. A parade will be held at 2 p. m. that will eclipse anything of its kind ever attempted here. The local Dokey temple has been busy for the past month preparing floats, drilling and gettin? everything ready for the turnout. It is expected that hundreds of out of town people will be here to witness the parade. In the evening a banquet will be served by the Pythian Sisters to the Dokeys and the prospective Dokeys at the Castle hall on. Main street. After the banquet the ceremonial will be put on at tho new garage of Schuler and Jerome at Sixth and Ivy. This splen did new structure has been donated by Schuler and Jerome for the uae of the Dokeys and will give them a fine hall for their work. A campaign is now on to get every K. P. in Medford and vicinity signed up beforo Saturday. If any of them should be overlooked it is hoped that they will hunt up lien Trowbridge and get in lino for the big doings. A special feature of the public turn out Saturday afternoon will bo the Dokey band and tho brigand tenm in full regalia. Tho idea was most fa- I vorably received ail over the city and j the ministers and churches are hope ful that many will remember the sug-! gestion of the day and form tho habit j of regular church attendance. In response to tne request of President Harding, for prayer on Armistice Day, on behalf of the Dis armament conference, which Is to vember tho 11th and whose deliber ations and decisions means so much to the wholo world, arrangements were made for a prayer service at the South Methodist church, corner of Main and Oakdale, at 7:30 p. in. on that day. for the people of th city who wish to attend and also those t. ho are here to attend the exercises of the day from outside points. There will bo no speech making, but simply a brief, earnest prayer service to which every one is invited. Further announcement will he nuido later. Arrangements were also made to' hold the annual union Thanksgiving service this year at the Christian church at 7:-3U p. m. On Thanksgiving Dny, with Uev. R. P.'
