Churchill, slate superinten dent of public instruction, unemploy ment has had no visible cfrect upon the teacher supply in Oregon. He de clares that competent Instructors are as scare now as they were a year ago. Any number of Inexperienced candi dates for teaching positions are avail able, Churchill ndmlts, but ho insists that there are more openings for com petent, experienced teachers than there are applicants, qualified to fill such positions.
