Bun Welch's Auto Repair Shop. 28 North Riverside. 40 POLICE CONTINUE 10 GET EVIDENCE IN BOOZE CASE The police are still at work gath ering evidence to clean up tho arrests made during Thursday night. Claude Miles, and two women who were ar rested in a room were brought Into court late Friday arternoon on Btute charges. Miles and one or the women were charged with misconduct and the other woman with Intoxication. The police claim that all three were Intoxicated and that other charges may be made later. Miles, who was represented in court by Attorney G. M. Roberts, de manded an examination, and as the prosecuting attorney's office was not ready for trial at once, his case was continued until next Tuesday at 2 p. in. as were also the charges against the two women who are from Klam ath Falls. Miles furnished $200 cnsli ball and also $50 cash ball for each woman. It has developed that Hurst Char ley, who was arrested on the street for Intoxication early Friday morn ing by Patrolman Adams, and three other Medford men had been In the room with the arrested trio' for' hours, but had departed long before the po lice arrived. Charley pleaded guilty in police court this arternoon to be ing intoxicated and was tined $10 and costs. ' In the room when Chief of Police Timothy and 'Patrolman Hemstreet entered about 5 a. m. Friday morn ing and made the arrests, was found two jugs of moonshine whiskey, a small quantity of booze still remain ing In the receptacles.
