The standard arsenate strength for this application is one pound of powder ed or two pounds of paste to fifty gal lons, liime and sulphur at the rate t-f one to thirty of the liquid or three pounds of the dry to fifty gallons of water may he used for scab. Where green aphis are present nicotine sul phate may be added to the lime and sulphur combination at the rate of n pint and a half to a 200-gallon tank. A meeting of tho general chairman of the railroad shop crafts will bo held here Monday and Tuesday to draw up a uniform set of rules which the unions will advo cate In place of tho national agree ments, ordered abrogated by the rail road labor board, effective July 1.
