IVAGE RE ENGLAND IS REGARDED SURE LONDON Labor' 'correspondents various London newspapers assert lhe cost of living has declined in Great Britain and that a reduction of ,ages l inevitable. They report de creases in wages already have oc curred in cases where sliding scales of pay were based on the, selling prices of the goods produced. These wage cuts however, are most ly in trades which are poorly organ lied. There is a good deal of specu lation among the labor writers us to the attitude of workers In highly or ganized trades when they nre called upon to accept a lower wage, in ac cordance with previously arranged plans based upon tho cost of living. ures on too cusl ui iivnig ior worn lg class families show that at the end of December tho percentage was 169 higher than in 1914 against tho November figure of 170, while for January It was ejtpeeieu to reacn joii. CHICAGO, Feb. 17 Fresh declines In the price of wheat took place today largely owing to lack of substantial evidence of any actual widespread crop damage yet from green bugs Opening prices, which varied from un changed figures to lc higher with March $1.71 to $1.72 and May $1.62 to .$1.6216 were followed by a material setback all around. Rural offerings had a bearish effect on corn. After opening quarter cent off to a like advance, including May at 71 to 71 ',4c, the market underwent a decided general sag. Oats were easier with other grain, starting unchanged to quarter cent lower, May 46 to 4GVbC, and later showing a moderate setback for all deliveries. Lower quotations for hogs and cereals pulled down provisions. N. Y. Stocks NEW money, YORK, Feb. 17. That is tne joyful cry of thousands since Dr. Edwards produced Olive Tablets, the substitute for calomel. Dr. Edwards, a practicing physician for 17 years and calomel s old-time enemy, discovered the formula for Olive Tablets while treating patients for chronic constipation and torpid livers. Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets do not contain calomel, but a healing, soothing vegetable laxative. No griping is the "keynote" of these little sugar-coated, olive-colored tab Jets. They cause the bowels and liver to act normally. They never force tliero to unnatural action. If you have a "dark brown mouth"--bad breath a dul!, tired feeling sick headache torpid liver constipation, you'll find quick, sure and pleasant re sults from one or two of Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets at bedtime. Thousands take them every night lint to keep right. Try them. Chesapeake & Ohio 59 t. hit-ago, Mil. and St. Paul 27.5 Chicago.
