' The date' of their arrival and the locution of their of fices will be announced thru the press, or may he obtained oil inquiry at offices of colleotors of internal rev-1 enue and branch offices. The period of filing returns is from January. 1 to .March 15, 1921. The tax, this year as last may be paid In full at 'the time of filing the return or. in four installments, the first of which is due on or before March 15, the second on or before June 15, the third on or before September. 1 5 and the fourth on or before December 15. The first installment must accom pany the filing of the return. Persons whose Individual net in come 'or 1920 was $5000 and less should ask for Form 1040 A. Those whose individual net income was In excess of $5000 should ask tor form 1040. The bureau of internal revenue is urging taxpayers not to delay in the filing of their returns. Merchants and 'business men are casting up their accounts for the calendar year 1920. With the facts and figures necessary to make a correct return fresh in their minds, the .making out of a form soon after January 1 will be an easier task, the bureau points out, than If delayed. .; ... .: . The' requirements of the revenue act relating to returns for the year 1920 are the, same as those tor. the year 1919. .Every single person whose net income for 1920 was $1000 or more a,nd every married person whose net income was $2000 or more must file a return. The exemptions are $1000 for single persons and $2000 for married persons and heads of families, plus an additional exemp tion of $200 for each person depen dent upon the taxpayer for chief sup port In such person is under eighteen years of age or Incapable of self sup port. A single person may claim an exemption of $201)0 as the head of a family if he is the sole support of, one or more relatives living in the same house with him, and if he exorcises control over household affairs. It Is nec essary to alter them somewhat, but iri the present case a play has been chosen which adapts itself perfectly to screen presentation. "Twin Beds" is Carter DeHavcn s first picture for the Associated First National Exhibitors" circuit, and Is reported to be a tremendously satis factory presentation of one of the funniest plays that over graced tho American stage. The play enjoyed an unusually long Broadway run, and was represented by six road compan ies, which gave this laughable bed robm farco to practically the whole country. "Twin Beds" comes as the attrac tion at the RlaHo theatre today for the remainder of the week. Jackson county is to have u farrier's short course for one whole week. The Oregon Agricultural College in to-opei-allen with the Jackson County Knrin Ilureau Is conducting n short course, for the benefit of farnieru and farmers' wives engaged in all kinds of farm life.
