The Florida case, in which the committee was palled upon to decide whether there was, in k'tral effe-:t, any republican party in Florida, promised in a sense .to show the first indications ot the candidacies of Major General Leonard Wood. Gov ernor Frank 0. IS SALEM, Ore., June 1 State Treasurer Iloff today rejected u bid of. the It'alph -Hclineeloclc company to purchase $78,000 state bonds at par wi(h interest at,f per cent and 13 premium. The bonds were offer ed for sale to pay interest on bonds olj irritation districts under the law of 1!U9 whereby the state guaran tees interest on irrigation bonds up to five years. The law requires that the state bonds be sold ut par. The state will take the bonds, the pur chase to be made by the industrial accident department. HEARMSE EXPRESS RATES Sl'OKANK. June 1.
