At n meeting of the forum of the Chamber of Commerce last Wednes day noon nt the Holland Hotel, theri developed a strong feeling that an in tensive campaign was neeessni'v to carrv the five hundred dollar countv road bond measure to bo voted upon at the election Slav 21. In that the state four wr cent bond limitation act interlocks with the countv bond ing proposition, the same was also included into the program of the cam paign as was the higher cducutional bill, so necessary for the education of the young manhood and woman hood of our great state. Mr. Weslio Brown led tho discus sion on rond matters and gave a clear statement of what it meant to Jack son countv to have -cither of the measures fail of adoption by tho voters. Mr. Rawles Moore. Benj. C. Sheldon. F. W. Menrs and H. L. Wul ther all spoke in favor of making an educational campaign to carrv the road measures. Mr. V. II. Vnwter called attention to the importance of the higher educational bill and his suggestion to include the same in the campaign was unanimously concurred in. As n result of the forum's action, it is recommended to the bourd of di rectors that n campaign committee of three members be appointed, who arc empowered to select assistants from the ranks of tho Chamber of Commerce to conduct n, thorough campaign for the adoption of the road bond measures of tho countv and state and the higher educational bill. This committee will call upon a great muny members of tho chamber to assist in this campaign as there will be four minute men, speakers for rurul districts, men appointed to take care of publicity, in the nowspnpers as well as getting nut windshield signs and literature giving facts and figures. The time between' now and election will not permit any 'delay, so that when members of tho Chamber of Commerce aro called upon to nssist in this campaign, thev should make evcrv effort to attend tho meetings, which arc to be called so thero will be no dclav, as evcrv dav counts in reaching the voters of the countv he fore election. About fifty, members attended the forum yesterday. All during the month of M'siv, thoy. will be held nt the Holland Cafe on each Wednes day noon. Next month, they . will nil be held at the Medford Hotel Next week, C. E. Gates will lead the discussion on the value of a modern automobile camp ground to the com munity in which it is located. Mr. David H. Rosenberg will be the chair man of tho day. Two visitors attend tho forum on Wednesday, Mr. James II. Childs of Los Angeles of the American City Bureau, who was in the citv connect ed with the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce campaign and Mr. C. S. Ilarrimnn of Detroit, a traveling salesman, who was a guest of Mr. Gain Robinson. Gosh I How my back achesl " After Grip, "flu" or colds, the kidneys and bladder aro often affocted called nephritis, or Inflammation of klinoys. This Is tho red flag of danger better be wise and check tho further inroads of kidney dlsoaso by obtaining that wonder ful discovery of Dr. Plorco's, known as Anuric (antl-uric-acld), because It expels tho uric acid poison from tho body and removes those pains, such as backache, rheumatism in muscles and Joints. Naturally when the kidneys are deranged tho blood Is filled with poison us waste matter, which settles In the feet, ankles and wrists; or under the eyos In bug-like formations. Dr. Plorco's Anuric Is many times more potent than llthla and often eliminates uric acid as hot tea melts sugar. - Madkiia, Cai. I recommend Dr. Pierce's Anuric very hlgliiy. I have suffered for the last three years with catarrh of the bladder, having tried every remedy I heard of but without relief. I saw Auurlc advertised In the papor, and like a drowning man Grabbing at a straw I thought I would ry it also, which I did with great suc cess, as It relieved mo almost Imme diately, before I had token all of tho trial package, and having groat conll dence In tho remedy I ImmodluUily sent to the drug storo and bought a packagn. I can say to all suffering from any disease of tho kldnoys or uric acid troubles, try this remedy and suffer no longer. I havo great faith In Doctor Pierce's remedies. S. P. LIenslev.
