' .- -- - 75 A telegram received yesterday by Mrs. Tainer of this city told the sad news of the death of Mrs. Varian Jonas on May 20. She was, only 25 years of age, and most of her life she lived at Eagle Point. She died at her mother's home in Lakevlew, Ore., where she had only been three weeks. On her journey to Lakevlew she contracted a severe cold which developed into pneumonia,, which caused, her untimely death. She leaves to mourn her loss her little boy; Paul, ot six years, her husband, besides her relatives and a host ot friends who will surely miss her dear self among them.
