When be was 16 years old he jumped on a passing freight train and was kicked off by a brakeman. Shortly after wards the tubercular trouble devel oped. He is about 23 years old. .. Portland Telegram. Tho chaff was sep arated from the wheat by question ing. - The taking of. financially embar rassed boys to tho circus, has been a hobby with Mr. 'Brown, tor 20 years, and is due to the fact that Mr. Brown never saw' a circus till he was old enough to vote, tho they often passed his Missouri homo. The disappoint ment was so keen that Mr. Brown vowed If he ever was able he would take all the kids situated like he was and for years no. circus has come to his town without keeping tho vow.
