M. Janney will have charge of the parade, the organiza tion having established a reputation Inthe past for conducting many suc cessful parades. AU of the various organizations in the county are ex pected to participate and unless their executive officers have already 4een called upon are requested to commu nicate with Commander Janney. Both the Medford City band and the High School band will donate their services to the parade and every scholar In the public schools will be In the line of march. The returned soldiers and .sailors In command of one of the- returned officers, will form a separate unit and this feature will give Jackson county people an opportunity of see ing the men of whom everyone Is so justly proud. A fine interest Is manifested In the Passion week services held each evening church, decision Christ, -sermon In the First Methodist Last evening there was one to become & follower of The subject of Dr. Carlos' was "The Challenge of Christ's Authority." Me showed that this was not by the people but by the temple leaders. Today it Is renewed. This evening he will speak on "The Controversy with the Leaders." He will explain Christ's motive for en tering into this controversy. For the special music this evening Miss Brooks and Mr. 'McDonough will sing Lansing's "Lead Kindly Light." 'The members of the church are inviting their friends to 'attend these special meetings. : ' ' ; L ' - i EMR EGG HIT FOR b" There is a merry time In store for Medford kiddles on next Saturday afternoon.' 1 The Occasion will be an Easter egg hunt for the little folks of the Medford schools, in the city park at 1 p. m. The Parent-Teacher circle of the Roosevelt school is tak ing the Initiative In the plans for this event and every child in Medford from 3 to 8 years old, is asked to come, and Join in an hour of delight. There will be lots and lots of pretty colored Easter eggs temptingly hid den In every nook and' cranny, just waiting to he found by the eager eyeB of the little folks.
