Medford kiddles on next Saturday
afternoon.' 1 The Occasion will be an
Easter egg hunt for the little folks
of the Medford schools, in the city
park at 1 p. m. The Parent-Teacher
circle of the Roosevelt school is tak
ing the Initiative In the plans for this
event and every child in Medford
from 3 to 8 years old, is asked to
come, and Join in an hour of delight.
There will be lots and lots of pretty
colored Easter eggs temptingly hid
den In every nook and' cranny, just
waiting to he found by the eager eyeB
of the little folks. The ladies or

American flag was advocated In a re
port today to the 28th congress of
the Daughters of the American Revo
lution, In session at Continental Hall
here.
Mrs. James P. Hume, state regent
of Wisconsin, chairman of the flag
committee, reported that the evil had
increased very greatly since the ar
mistice.' Y'' '"'
' The most frequent misuse "of the
flag, Mrs. Hiime" declared, was by
magazines, and in cartoons and pos
ters."' In the latter days of the war
and particularly since the armistice
and with the returning home ; of
troops the public, she said, had used
the flag for costumes' and decorations
in such a way as to arouse the resent
ment of patriotic organizations. .
