And when the seven reels aro finished, the play seems much too short. i The comedy is built upon the reality of hu man incidents and situa tions, livery laugh is sin cere, running throoKli the play as golden threads run UirouKh a piece of cloth, Riving it pattern and texture and richness. PATHOS THE sad and pathetic :...incidcnts grip with a gonuine, human appeal. The situations are natur al, and never overdrawn, and the shadows blend In a perfect harmony with tho sunshine- of tho sce nario. The acting throughout is so simple and unaffect ed and real, and the cli maxes are reached so sub tly, tiint the audience is frequently on the verge of tears without tjulto knowing why. LOVE THR heart Interest In ".Mickey" has never before been surpassed In motion picture history. Although the Incidents attondlng Mickoy's court ship are unusual, they are as beautifully human and natural as love Itself. The glorious romance, which starU in tho early scenes, holds and fasdii bum to a happy ending. There Is a deep, heart felt appeal In tho unaf fected, wholesome lovo of this adorulilc llttlo girl. ADVENTUKE NO photoplay lias yet been produced so filled with adventure nnd thrills as "Mlckoy." The novelty und Intensity of the thrills are Indeed re markable. Katalltics scent to bo nvoided by a hair's breadth with a rnility that Is tremendously con vincing. Thero Is thrill . upon thrill, and each thrill In thtno suspense exciting Incidents Is Just n llttlo bit hotter than tile last, until at tholr climaxes the nudlenco Is fairly brought to Its feet out of sheer en thusiasm and excitement.
