The administration must sup
press nil illicit traffic in violation of
the federal and state laws. Where
sufficient information comes to Your

tillery will arrive home next Monday
afternoon at 4:20 o'clock on the reg
ular south bound passenger train.
The aoove definite news was contained-
In a telegram Mayor Gales receiv
ed this morning from Sergeant
George Gates, to whom he had wired
several days ago to get all the Med-
ford boys of the 65th together at
Camp Lewis and decide as to when
they would come home in a body. The
65th will he mustered out tomorrow
and the Hod ford unit will at once
leave for Portland where they will
remain sightseeing and visiting nnttl
about midnight Sunday when they
take4the train tor -Medford.
This time of arrival fits in wen
with the plans for the great reception
and party for returned soldiers at the
Natatorium Monday night and means
radically a continuous celebration
Irom the time or the arrival of tne
train until midnight or later. A rec
ord breaking crowd is expected to
meet the boys at the depot Monday
afternoon.
Those in charge of the party to be
given to Uncle Sam's boys on Monday
evening wish to emphasize the fact
that It is Medford's party and every
citizen is hidden. It should prove a
pleasureable duty for everyone to go
and give the honored guests a hearty
greeting. The expense of the party
will be borne by voluntary public
subscription now being made at the
Gates Auto store. The following list
