Haney. 374 All Jackson county teachers and young women who plan to take up teaching are much interested In the legislative bill providing a minimum salary of $75 a month to be paid In every school district. The house passed .the bill almost unanimously and it seems assured of passage in tbe senate. As school is held eight months or more every year in every district, tho new law would assure the teachers of even the far distant rural districts at least $600 a year.
