All Jackson county teachers and
young women who plan to take up
teaching are much interested In the
legislative bill providing a minimum
salary of $75 a month to be paid In
every school district. The house
passed .the bill almost unanimously
and it seems assured of passage in
tbe senate. As school is held eight
months or more every year in every
district, tho new law would assure
the teachers of even the far distant
rural districts at least $600 a year.
