Mrs. MUligan with whom she has been living states that she is a good worker but is not contented and gets very . nervous at times, and of late has been getting worse. Loe ot this city, and Charley Mori. tho Japanese janitor at the Jackson County bank, while four more cases wero taken to the Sacred "Heart hos pital, making a total ot sixty cases. Five cases wero dismissed from the Sacred Heart hospital this morning and most of the cases are report od to be light, with recovery in a few da'8- At a special meeting ot the city council yesterday two ordinances were passod, one placing Influent In the list ot contagious diseases with smallpox, diphtheria, etc., whlch rip quires quarantine regulations whera ever the health authorities believe, necessary. The other was a revision ot the flu mask ordinance correcting certain technical errors n the first draft. As now drawn masks covering the nose and mouth are required by all people In stores, hotel lobbies and places ot business as well as on the streets. Chief of Police Timothy made four arrests this morning of flu mask vio lators. -"Those apprehended were L. D. Laughlln. C. S. Webster, R. D. Hensen and S. W. Douglas. .
