The arrests were followed by a raid this morning on Kstcs' pool hall by Sheriff Jenninpt nnd deputies who arrested two men connected with the place and after a thorough search carried away as evidence a small quantity of liquor. There in a mystery about the so called Portland prisoner. Ho refuses to give his name or other information ulmut himself. The car he was ilriv iiir is a t'hulmers Six, and bears the Ktuto license number 29118. The owner of this number is repstered as Z. I.. Dimmick of Grants l'ass. It is claimed by the county authorities and Hilice that Ksles has been in the bootlcfrin business ever since the prohibtion law went into effect, but that they were never able to find sufficient evidence heretofore to cause bis arrest.
