Construction work will be bgun In a few days as plans have already been prepared for the building. Reginald II. Parsons will erect the cold storafge plant, which will be modern in every particular. Tho build ing xvill be leased by the Stewart Fruit company, it Is expected that the plant will be ready for use in time to handle the fall crop. As a part of tho site of the struc ture and for right of way purposes the announcement has just been made that Mr, Parsons has purchased thru Earl Tumy three parcels of land at a cost of $0000. The city council at Its meeting last Monday night, at request of Attorney Lincoln McCormack, granted permis sion for the extension of the Southern Pacific sidetrack past the property.
