W. Parker of Klamath county for a price said to be around $20,000. Mr. Barneburg is going out of the cattle business. Until July 1 the cattle will be run on their present range, the Hagardlne tract on Grizzly Butte. After that the steers will be cut out and Bent to the Llndsey ranch In the Dead Indian country to be fat- toned and the stockers will be driven to tho Klamath county range. The fact that the Hagardlne range, which he and L. A. Noll had leased from the Ben Selling and Joe Simon Interests of Portland was recently taken over by the Rosenberg brothers of Medford who will run sheep on It, was an important factor in inducing Mr. Barneburg to go out of the cattle business in this vicinity. L. A. Neil and son, Elmo, with whom Mr. Barneburg was associated In the lease of the land, have about 400 bead of cattle on it, but have not yet announced their future plans con cerning these cattle.
