Howlett Fred Elder of Lake Creek was among the callers for dinner Thurs day. He was out nm'rlng arrange ments to store a lot of hay here un- til' the roads were so that lie could haul ft to his ranch. The hay came out on the train Saturday and ho is storing it at this writing. He thinks that he will have to feed for at least three weeks yet. Mr. Wideman, who is living In the old Hitchcock place, was here Thurs day for a load of lumber. There was another car of hay passed through here Thursday for Derby, and another car for Carl Stanley, representing the Stanley Bros. '.Newt Garmon and family, now liv ing on the old Pool place on the east end of Big Stlckey, were here Thurs day trading with our merchants. H says that he can do just as well here with our merchants as he can any where, so lets well enough alone. W. D.
