Admission 25o. 307" State Game Warden Carl Shoemak er, accompanied by Deputy James Urlscoll of Ashland, visited In Grants Pass over Sunday, and made an In spectlon of the condition of the fish ladders at the Golden Drift dam. Mr. Shoemaker stated tiiat a number of Improvements would be made in the ladders and an effort would be put forth to remove any cause for com plaint that the people ot the upper river had In that regard. During the visit of the chief warden, hundreds of steelheads were going through the Indder on the south side of the river, not being held back by the dam.
