Russell, known as "pastor" Rns pcM and independent minuter editor of the Watch Tower, and prominent author, died late Tuesday on an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe train en route from L011 Angeles to New York. Heart disease was given as the cause. . Pastor Russell complained of feel ing ill soon after leaving Los Ange les and gradually grew worse. Death came while the train was stopped at rau.no, TCx., near here. The body Is being sent to Kansas City, Mo., on the train on which the inlnlstersdied. Pastor liussell was born In Totts burg Pa., February 10, J S 5 2 . He was president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract society of Pennsyl vania, the International Bible Stu dent's association of London and the People's Pulpit association of New York.
