The program wa tmjoynbly opened by two piano number by the Slisse Koontr. nnd Steel, pupils of St. Slary's academy. The violin number given by Sliss Irene Sullivan and Sir. Carlton Jane, with Sliss Venitn Ham ilton ut the piano, were beautifully rendered and thoroughly appreciated by the audience. For that reason he retimed to order the release ot James L. Level, who Is being held In the Multnomah county Jail ror debt. A Judgment tor $1031 was obtain, oil against James L. Level by a cousin John M. Level, now serving a lire sontance In San Qunntlu penitentiary Tor murder. Tho Judgment decree states there wa fraud lu'the decision and this week attorneys representing the convict caused au execution to be issued against the body of James L. Level who was arrested.
