Just before crossing bridge over Roguo river (about 4C.9) sco sign on right reading ("Mill Creek Falls"), leave car nnd walk down trail one-quarter mile and sea ouo of Oregon's scenic falls. Excellent meals and accommodations at Prospect. At this point sco sign on left marking road to Natural Drldge. It li but n short run to the bridge, and well worth seeing. Union creek. Union Gorge. A picturesquo chasm, carved through tho rocks by Roguo river about 100 yards down the river from tho road. Sliver Camp. Good water and camp 200 ards to left. Tako left fork, (right is not so good). Drldgo over Whiskey creek. Old ford across Whiskey creek, turn left, (right goes back to Mod ford by old road which branchod off at 05.0.) Crater Lake National Park boundary line, monument on right. Park Headquarters. Left to Lake, right leads to Fort Klamath. Here is found a spring, from which on tho hottest day, the water will register 3D degrees Fnrcnhelt. Rim of Crater Lake, and hotel with every accommodation, )ou are over 7000 feet above sea level. To seo tho lake ut is best. It should be a sunny, calm day. Take tho foot path to the right, don't hurry, ou will bo repaid with magnificent views at ovory turn, never to bo forgotten. Climb down the winding trail to the lake, tako a boat, and visit Wizard Island, and the Phantom Ship, let out jour trolling lines and catch tho limit (five) Rainbow trout. Seo tho lako right.
