Bowman. Tho fol lowing program was carried eut: 10:00 to 11:00 "Sox Hygiene", Prof. Swcetser, University of Oregon. 11:00 to 12:00 Informal discus sion. 1:30 to 3:00 Roundtable discus sions. ( (1) Should English bo the only Tcqulred high school subject (2) Considered from the stand point of the high school student, how much should collcgo entrance requlro rnents influence tho high school cur riculum? (3) How early In a child's school career should a dcfinlto well deflnod correlation between subject matter and vocational activity bo emphasiz ed? (i) When posslblo should tho de partmental system be extended to tho Cth, Gth, 7th and Sth grades? (5) Do we teach too many sub jects In the eighth grado (C) Should tho period of high school and elementary education bo shortoncd?
