If I have things right, it costs about !?7i50 per month whether they work or not, and about $1,000 per month if they work all the time, so I feel that they will make a great showing for the money invested In good weather. The above estimate is not exactly correct, bnt'is n rough estimate when the camp consists of 35 men, an overseer drawing $100 per mouth, and two teams which I understand are paid $4 per dny. The boys get their board and 2." cents per day. So the only additional cost the working dny has over the idle day is the 25 cents per man.
