'Take up the corn nnd rub be tween the hands until It is frco from hulls. You will need to put lt.through several waters. When the corn is freo from hulls put It on to cook In clear, cold water, which should bo changed several times while cooking to free it from tho taste of lye. Cook until ten der. When It Is almost done salt to tasto and cool: half an hour longer. Urnewnter may be poured off from tb. sediment which will have gathered Fill a wini'ghisi or tumbler with the Urnewnter and blow, throosu tho liquid with a piece of clean straw or a glass tnbe.
