In spite of the fact that jtlie valley had the goods all of the time the growers of the valley have been content with the prices they have received for the products of their orchards and have made no concerted attempts to compete for prize. This year, however, two cars were (sent from the Rogue River valley, from Tronson & Guthrie's orch ard and one from Charles Popes torchnrd ai Ashland. The first was jinndo up entirely of Spitrenbergs and the latter of Newtowns.
