' I insure for $10. MRS. FRANK M. PARKER Mary A., wife of Frank M. Parker, died Saturday evening, May 25, 1907, of heart failure at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 19 days. Mary A. Horn was bcrn in Davis county, Iowa, April 6, 1850. She came to Jackson coun ty, Oregon, with her parents in the early 60's, where she was married F. M. Parker on March 6, 1879, she was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive her, two sons, M. F. and Charles, and four daughters, Mrs. Jas. Fry, Mrs. Orville Brown, Mrs. Gardi ner and Alta. Mrs, Parker had been ill but two weeks and was not considered in a dangerous condition until Saturday when she began to be troubled with heart failure. Physicians were called at once but nothing could be done to prevent death. Mrs. Parker was well known as in dustrious woman, a faithful, loving and indulgent wife and mother. At 9:30 Tuesday morning the funeral proces sion left her late home, 3 miles noit'i of Lexington, and proceeded to the Odd Fellows cemetery, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends, where services were held and interr ment made. To the bereaved hus band and family the entire community extends words of sorrow and condo-lence.
