The prizes for the best sustained characters were captured by Mrs. J. E. Gentry, repre senting a flower girl and Frank Rheln schneider representing an Indian. At midnight an excellent supper was serv ed at Hotel Lexington. The school entertainment last Mon day evening attracted a large crowd and was a very enjoyable affair. Sometime ago the Lexington basket ball team went to Heppner to play the Heppner team. Heppner has a good . team and play a splendid game, but the Lexington boys were able to tie the score. Last Friday the . Heppner team came to Lexington for the re- . turn game and put up a strong game, yet our boys managed to break even with them on a score of 14 to 14. A number of Heppner people accom panied the ball team, many of whom stayed for the mask ball which follow ed the ball game.
