STRAWBERRY Farmers in this vicinity are busy sowing wheat. Strawberry school has been going almost six weeks. D. D. Bullis has left for a few days visit to the Yakima country. B. F. Thompson has found employ ment with a Butter Creek rancher for a short time R. K. Wiles has recently returned from a trip to Pendleton. He reports everything lively up there with horses out of sight. Strawberry is very glad to hear of a Sunday School being organized at Social Ridge. We hope some or . all of them will attend our box social De cember 22d, and help us pay for our Sunday School organ. Will and Lee White accompanied by H. A. Arensmeyer made a trip to the Columbia river for wood last week. They report wood very scarce, but plenty of wild geese, if they could only get close enough to kill them. Miss Anna Leach visited Straw berry school last week. Miss Leach Is visiting her friends before departing for Idaho, her future home.
