McLaughlin, contestes. in which it is alleged that said John H. McLaughlin has totally abandoned said claim and failed to reside thereon in any manner for more than six months last past; that he has made no improvements of any character upon said tracj; that said alleged absence was not due to his employment in the army, navy or marine corps of the United States j I in time of war.
