OASIS THEATRE locals HERMISTON, OREGON Mrs. Elizabeth Johnston of Des Moines, Iowa, arrived Tuesday for an indefinite visit at the home of her brother. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hamm. Mrs. J. L. Members of the grange and friends are cordially invited to at- —adv. tend. Bechy Printz, 4 year old little girl, was a tonsilectomy patient at the Hermiston General hospital Thursday of last week. Mrs. Roger J. Bounds of Wash ington, D. C., is expected this week end to visit several weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Swayze. Mrs. Una Dinwitty arrived home from Portland where she had spent a month visiting. She makes her home with her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Payne. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Alstott have received word from Cpl. Alvin Wolke that he is now stationed with front line troops and is still in fine health. He writes that he recently received the September 15, 1944, issue of the Hermiston Herald and was glad to hear from home town friends even though the paper was several months old and soaked in salt water.
