Mr. and Mrs. Bob Alstott have
received word from Cpl. Alvin
Wolke that he is now stationed
with front line troops and is still
in fine health. He writes that he
recently received the September
15, 1944, issue of the Hermiston
Herald and was glad to hear from
home town friends even though
the paper was several months old
and soaked in salt water. Cpl.
Wolke is in a tank division.
