Emma Jaster visited relatives in Pendleton Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Nutt of Baker, Ore., are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Willingham this week. Daisy Dexter, who has been in Loa Angeles. Cal., for medical treatment, visited the box factory Monday. Chas. Rowland, who has been ill for several months, is back on the job. Magatine Area Miss Alice J. Frosh is on a week's vacation in San Diego. Cal. Zora Stumbaugh is back in Control after spending a week's vacation at her home in Pendleton. Jessie Jensen is leaving for Spo- kane on a four day business trip. Sunday the Magazine Area office force had a pot luck lunch. They said it was just like “an ol’ time dinner at home”. The Magazine Area is running true to form in the second half of the Post Softball League by defeating all oppo sition. The outstanding game of the series was played on June 30th when “Bud” Evans pitched his team to a 15 to 0 win over the Officers by the shut-out route. His team played er rorless ball as not a player on the op posing team reached first base.
