Miss Alice J. Frosh is on a week's
vacation in San Diego. Cal.
Zora Stumbaugh is back in Control
after spending a week's vacation at
her home in Pendleton.
Jessie Jensen is leaving for Spo-
kane on a four day business trip.
Sunday the Magazine Area office
force had a pot luck lunch. They said
it was just like “an ol’ time dinner at
home”.
The Magazine Area is running true
to form in the second half of the Post
Softball League by defeating all oppo
sition. The outstanding game of the
series was played on June 30th when
“Bud” Evans pitched his team to a
15 to 0 win over the Officers by the
shut-out route. His team played er
rorless ball as not a player on the op
posing team reached first base. This
was the first no-hit. no-run, no-error
and no-walk game that has been
played on the local field.
