THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 1S41 visit. Phyllis Wilson of The Dalles was home over the week end. N. Kristensen and children Eliza' beth and Buddy were in Heppner or. business Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Turner Bond and daughter Nancy Kay were week end guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher. Roy, Ruth and Elbert Fisher drove down from Pendleton Sunday. Es sie Jones accompanied them home. Church services at the Community church will be in the morning now until further notice. A congregational meeting was held after services Sunday morning. Mr. Root, Mrs. Russel and Ed Barlow were elected directors. A chicken pie supper is to be held at the Grange hall Tuesday evening for the purpose of raising money to pay for the new song books. E. rally at Umatilla Friday evening. Ruth Kunze spent the week end in Portland. A shower was held in honor of Mrs. Chas. Andregg Thursday after noon. It was well attended and the honoree received many useful and lovely gifts.
