A congregational meeting was held
after services Sunday morning. Mr.
Root, Mrs. Russel and Ed Barlow
were elected directors.
A chicken pie supper is to be held
at the Grange hall Tuesday evening
for the purpose of raising money to
pay for the new song books.
The F.F.A. boys of the high school
brought back some of the honors

Friday. Among them were Bob Miles,
1st in forging; Ted Eckker, 4th in

The G. A. A. girls of the high
school entertained the Irrigon and
Umatilla girls Friday.
Three car loads of Endeavorers at­
tended the C. E. rally at Umatilla
Friday evening.
Ruth Kunze spent the week end in
Portland.
A shower was held in honor of
Mrs. Chas. Andregg Thursday after­
noon. It was well attended and the
honoree received many useful and
lovely gifts.
