Mr. Hahn at one time attended the Hermiston schools. Jack Hodgen, former athletic coach here, spent a short time in Hermis ton Wednesday visiting friends. Power left Saturday night by train for Portland and Oregon beaches for a week’s va cation. This will be the first time that the Powers have ever gone on a vacation trip and they were quite en thused as they left Hermiston. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Woolley re turned from a 10-day vacation spent a t the home of her parents at Forest Grove and at various Oregon beaches. Mrs. Casha Shaw, who has been visiting at the home of her son Mr and Mrs. Guy Shaw, returned to her home at Heppner Sunday. Miss Wanda Dunning returned Monday from Portland where she had visited over the week end with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Les ter Keenan. Her father, Ed Dun ning, who went to Portland with her, remained for a longer visit. While there they made an excursion to Sea side. Mrs. Smith Injured In Fall Mrs. Walter Smith of the Hermis ton Trading Co. suffered severe bruises Wednesday afternoon when she tripped on a stairways into the basement at the store.
