THIRD INSURANCE PROGRAM OFFERED WHEAT PRODUCERS CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES M |S THE UNIVERSE, INCLUDINO I MAN, EVOLVED BY ATOMIC FORCE?” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon In all Churches of Christ Scientist, on Sunday, June 23. The Golden Text was, “Lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth. The Lord, The Ood of hosts, Is his name" (Amos 4:13). Among the citations which com prised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from the Bible: "Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images" (Isa. 42:- 5.8). The Lesson-Sermon also included the following correlative passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: “The human mortal mind, by an inevitable perversion, makes all things start from the lowest in stead of from the highest mortal thought. The reverse is the case with all the formations of the im mortal divine Mind. They proceed from the divine source; and so. in tracing them, we constantly ascend in infinite being" (p.189).
