Vernon Root, who is working at Aberdeen, Wn., was accompanied to Boardman by Mrs. Harvey Ide and two boys of Portland who will visit here. Alta Gertis has been visiting in Huntington over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Horn of Gerdely, Cal., visited with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Strobel. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thorpe of Portland accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Nute Thorpe and son home this week for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis of Clatskanie moved here this fall to make their home during the school year. Mr. Davis teaches the sev enth and eighth grades. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barlow of Heppner visited here Sunday. A card party was held at the Grange hall Saturday evening with Mrs. Bill Lilly and Claude Coats winning first, and low prize going to Ray Brown and J. Rothenberger. PAGE FIVE
