College students visiting their parents over the holidays are Marie Thorsen and Claudia Gabriel from Eastern Oregon Normal in LaGrande and Bytha Hoskins and Stanley Green from O. S. C. in Corvallis. Friends in Stanfield will be in terested to hear of the marriage of Miss Katherine Olday and David Gibson of Portland. The marriage took place December 30. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gibson were former resi dents of Stanfield. The Misses Maria Thorsen and Claudia Gabriel left Sunday for La Grande where they will continue their studies at the Eastern Oregon Normal. Miss Bytha Hoskins left Sunday for Portland where she will enter North Western Business college. She was accompanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hoskins.
