Will Teach THURSDAY, JANUARY 21. 1932 Bulldogs Defeated Umatilla Quintet I (Continued from Page One) the locals on the heels of Umatilla, 17-19. The last quarter was exciting, al most to the breaking point, from start to finish. Before the local boys could get into action, Umatilla ad- I ded two more field goals to their early lead. The Bulldogs then came back with some real fighting blood when Klages started the scoring, which was followed by two fast hoopers by Martin, tying the score at 23. Umatilla was unable to get through the locals' five-men defense to get near the basket, but due to their experience with a high ceil ing, Lyle Brown, surprised the on lookers by shooting a long one from behind center, immediately adding another to cinch the game, 23-27. Both Pams played a fighting ame, but the Umatilla boys seemed o be unable to shoot fouls, getting in ly one throughout the game. Ursel Iliatt of Umatilla acted as •eferee for both games.
