Automotive engineers have long recognized that the most suitable crude petroleum so far discovered from which to manufacture a motor oil is produced on the Pacific Coast It is Naphthenic Base Crude. “A lth ou gh thinning out m ore rapidly, the “77i inning D ow n ” an Advantage (w e ste r n ) oil d oes not sh o w a n y greater T h e motor oil (Zerolene) which is refined from this crude has characteristics some w h a t different from those o f eastern paraffine base oils.
