But if you have any of them don’t sacrifice them at present rates. The present high rates of Interest will not last, and as interest rates de cline the value of the bonds will in crease. Then it is quite within the bounds of possibility that congress will soon take some action toward restoring their market value to par, by federal legislation if necessary. A little patience and you may yet come out whole on the deal. After the war Canada placed many thousand of her returned soldiers on new farms and furnished them finan cial assistance necessary to get a start. Now most of the money the Canadian Government loaned them has been repaid, new farms are add ing to the wealth of the dominion and the question of unemployment is less pressing than it otherwise would have been.
